I’ve been trying to re-read the classic gothic romantic suspense novel Rebecca for over a year now. I finally did it. Had so much fun. Remembered next to nothing from the first read years ago. It might have been high school. All I remembered was that the house manager was mean, the main character was timid, and the husband was distant and tormented. And everybody was haunted by Rebecca. Now I know why . . .
